Normally I’d agree with this but Valencia could barely get out of their own half in that first half, I agree with the finishing though it was lackluster.
105 - Toni Kroos del @realmadrid ha completado 105 de sus 108 pases ante el Valencia (97,2%), récord de un jugador en un partido de LaLiga esta temporada. Metrónomo. pic.twitter.com/TkQEG4iudZ— OptaJose (@OptaJose) December 15, 2019 Kroos was excellent as usual. 97% pass accuracy on 105/108 passes
look at this man. from bashed to praised. living for this glow up. pic.twitter.com/3HCtItdnvp— isco alarcon fc (@jennachami) December 15, 2019
Modric could actually be amazing in that Isco role today with Kroos-Case-Fede behind him. His IQ, work rate and offensive contribution would be 5x what Isco is providing at the moment.
Zidane didn't have the greatest of games, but the team's mentality under him is different because the vast majority of players love playing for him. Showing a bit of emotion here. 1206348832512057349 is not a valid tweet id
I'm a big critic and but I think the team he put out there was a good set up, but they failed to execute. He made substitutions, and to be honest Bale was absolutely not in the game. I think Zidane did a good job tonight.
What a game. I think this may motivate us to win Wednesday. Something about playing a tough opponent and just gutting them at the end. We got a draw, but for this team it was like we won 6 points. The personality and tough of this team is different from when Zidane initially arrived like night differs from day I know the agenda driven, trolls and pessimist will bash this result but for me this was great. This wasn't an easy team.
Fully agree. A lot of players were simply bad tonight ....otherwise I thought the set up and subs were good. when you have both full backs, a midfielder and two subs giving you nothing ...it’s not easy to win
I didn't see Isco as bad. He should have been subbed out way earlier though as it was clear he got tired and couldn't help anymore after the 50-60 minute. Same with Modric. He was good but got tired after a while.
We have no other options. Has nothing to do with a leash. You guys keep accusing Zidane of this heavily subjective favoritism but dude has shown us he is pretty pragmatic.
While I love all the reactions and a draw is better than nothing at all, the fact that all 3 points were right there for us to take still leaves a bitter taste. We will field a more balanced team on Wednesday but it will be a long day at the office if we decide to be wasteful in attack.
Benzema already solidified as a true legend & all-time Madridista even if he left Summer 2018. He had almost 200 goals and was an integral piece of Real Madrid winning 4 Champions League.
He had his ups and downs and was in the shadow of Cristiano, which left some doubts. Now he is leading the attack and being the force upfront. How can anyone question him? He has left no doubts about his place in our history.
