Va. DCU plates

I've seen several petition drives to get United license plates in Virginia. I am thinking of trying it again. I found a free site to do an online petition. I tried to find out the details on the DMV website, but got nowhere. If anyone has any links or info on how to do this, I'd be happy to grab this bull by the horns and get a new petition started.

People working for the team have started it before. I put my name on one of their lists a few years ago. You need like 350 people or something to pre-order the plates. They make it difficult. I would talk to someone in the DCU office, no idea where to start, might as well start with Stephen Zack The team should require every employee and volunteer to do it, it is great advertising.....
I have a ho-made one ... I have one of the small DCU stickers with just the shield cut out stuck on my license plate between the DCU and the FAN

gunner's too sexy for his/her car .... damn, now that horrible song is going thru my head ......

I have the DCU sticker in my windshield, but the plates would be awesome. I admit I'm not that bad to look at but I drive an '03 Eclipse and she's not shabby.

I would definitely sign up. I just ordered personalized plates that say 4DCUNTD but I would love to have that message on an official DCU plate. Though I am betting I couldn't carry over that exact message because those plates with logo's are usually restricted to 5 or 6 letters/numbers on the plate.

I sent that email to Mr. Zack. I know it's late in the year to start this but hopefully I can get all my ducks in a row and give this thing a go. I really want this to happen. Once again, thanks for any and all help!

I got an email back from Mr. Zack, and of course with the playoffs and all he's a little busy at the moment. I want to take my time in getting this set up and doing it right. I will post updates from time to time. This is something I REALLY want to happen and I will give it my best effort.
