    Uzbek League opens with blockbuster

TASHKENT: The Uzbekistan League new season will kick off on March 13 with a blockbuster between defending champions Bunyodkor and archrivals Pakhtakor.

The league schedule was announced Friday by the Uzbek Pro-League.

Only 14 clubs are in the fray this year without the two relegated sides of Sogidana and Bukhara.

No club has been promoted to the top-flight this season as the reserves of Bunyodkor and Mashal, who are already in the first division, won the second division titles.

In other first round encounters, Neftchi travel to Lokomotiv, Nasaf host Shurtan, Kyzylkum take on Metallurg, Dynamo go up against Khorezm, Navbahor lock horns with Mashal, and Andijan clash with Almalyk.

    C1 will play against D2
    C2 - D1
    A1 - B2
    B1 - A2

So If Bunyodkor gets the first place from group D, it will play agains Turkmenistan's MTTU, who get the second place in group C(actually third, but Russian young NT can not reach the next stage according the cup rules).

The Uzbek League season started today.

Lokomotive Tashkent won 3-1 and i'm kind of hoping that they can mount some kind of challenge. I don't know much about them, but i do like there name that follows the old Soviet style.

Shatskikh signed a contract with Ukrainean football club Arsenal.
And I think that there occured a chemical reactions in the left hemisphere of the Qasimov's mind(head of NT), so that he is not calling Shatskhikh, Bikmaev and Shishelov from Russian and Ukrainean clubs.

also i would like to ask whether djeparov is going anywhere to europe?
considering his age is not young
if he doesn't leave bunyodkor anytime soon, it would be difficult for him to advance

He is earning so much in Bunyodkor, 1m a year without bonuses, so he refused to some russian clubs last year.
But I think that only Odil Ahmedov of Pakhtakor can easily play to any team of world TOP 4 leagues, eng, ger,itl and spain. He is working so hard, and so showing a really professional football.

Unfortunately, I also couldn't find any videos with him on youtube. But here at the official webpage of pakhatkor, you may see 2 goals him scored to teams in FM at the begining of this year.

    http://www.pakhtakor.uz/?id=179
Press on Pakhtakor - Vasluy 1-0
and Локомотив - Пахтакор (Одил Ахмедов)

He was beaten by ball on his face so many times when he was at the NT U16, so to avoid it he is playing better now. :D
