Why did Flannigan say Virginia cut their mens' soccer team? Was he being sarcastic? Sorry for being such a bonehead, and for starting such a useless post................ How many major colleges and uni's really HAVE cut their soccer teams, mens AND womens? Besides the recent decision by Uni. of Miami in Ohio?
Maybe Flannigan's right...... The University of Florida has indeed seem to have dropped, at some point, their mens' soccer team. I went to their web site and there is just a single `soccer' category, and it only mentions the women........
Say what? I just noticed this thread on the main page of bigsoccer. But UVA men's team isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
Re: Maybe Flannigan's right...... I don't think they ever had one. As far I know the only SEC schools that have had men's soccer teams are Vandy and U.K.

As Courtney asys the Cavaliers' men's soccer program isn't going anywhere any time soon. If they axe it I might give back my diploma.
