saw it on the RSL Facebook feed. Should be fun and a good game and kind of keeps the tradition of a Nat. game here every year that was started when we had such good support when Mia and the rest came and played at Rice Eccles.

Yeah, I'm excited. It's going to be on NBC too (not NBC Sports), so should be good pub for Sandy, Utah, the RioT, and RSL.

    I think that's really cool. I hope I'll be able to go. I don't think I've been to a non-RSL match since maybe 09 or 10

with it being at noon that kind of eliminates the possibility of making it a double header where you watched the RSL game on the big screen afterwards. It does give you plenty of time to get home, but it still would have been cool to try and sell it that way.

The slot on the parent NBC station no doubt determined that start time. Would've been cool aye, but not possible in context.

I'm down for a breakfast tailgate. Break out the mimosas and Irish coffee.

Except the 'big screen' at the Riot ain't that big and pretty much sucks.

Now, if everyone could gather in Club Bud with some HD......

I'm excited for this game and will be buying tickets. Hope they price it right so we can get a lot of people packed in.

Double header would be best for RSL.

It's not best for USSoccer's revenue stream, and that's what is in charge.

Not sure I'll show. The prices are really high, and while I'm not super price conscious, I just feel like it's more of a gouge-the-fan show than a promote-the-women's-team show. Not sure I want to vote 'yes' with my ass in a seat.

They do seem a little high but they don't seem that crazy overall IMO. Although it'd be a bit fairer price if it was for the men's team.

Seeing as this is the last game before the Olympics, I'd rather see a team that's playing in the Olympics. ;)

It's not at all appropriate/fair to characterize the ticket prices as $250. That price is for the corporate-aimed 100 Lions Club seats that include a gourmet buffet. Those cost $7500 for the RSL season —$375 per game. The most expensive seats that don't include food or goodies cost $78 for front row seats (although you might as well pay $11 more for free club food and better seats).

The other tickets are all less than $50. Sidelines for $38 is quite reasonable — the non-discounted price for RSL matches is $40 — as are the cheap corner and goal seats, $28 and $22, respectively.

Perhaps we've all forgotten what RSL officially charges for tickets due to STH rates and frequent specials?

When you compare it like that, it doesn't seem as bad. I guess I'm too used to all the discounts. Can't argue being in row B on the east side for about ~19 per game.

I'm personally pretty excited for this. And in my usual seat for $22 isn't too bad. Especially considering an RSL match in that same seat is $25. And how often will we see these women in our stadium (can anyone say Alex Morgan) kicking some ass?

And fanboy, that is WAY old school! :D and to go more oldschool, here's a wink for you. ;)

For all those interested, the Salt City Outlaws (American Outlaws chapter) will be purchasing tickets in Section 9. If you like that kind of atmosphere, then feel free to join us. We'll also be setting up a breakfast tailgate.

Got our tickets this morning. I've seen the Mens team before, but this will be my first time watching the Women play in person. $22 to me was a good deal and we are super excited!

$48/seat for the sidelines seems a bit steep. So far, those tickets aren't exactly flying out of the box office. We're on the end, sec. 30; at $22, that seems like a good deal and those tickets are selling pretty briskly.

Maybe as the game gets closer, if some of the more expensive tickets aren't sold, they'll start the promotions.

Noon on June 30 could make for miserable conditions, for both the fans and players.

    Cheers

I really want to, I just can't bring myself to spending 45ish bucks on the womens national team (2 seats needed).

As of about a week ago, I was told they had sold around 12,000 tickets. I got 6 yesterday so I am sure it's gone up a bit since.

    12,006!

On this weeks On Frame, they actually talked about this very thing. As of yesterday there were 5,000 seats left, so I'm assuming that means 15k have been sold now. and I bought 2 tuesday night.

last time USWNT came to the RioT: snow covered the pitch
    this time: scorching heat

y'all have fun burning up watching two teams not invest any sort of effort into a match.
I'll keep my +20/ticket cash and avoid heat stroke
