Strangest time I have probably ever heard to start anything.

 

So the game will be in the bottom of the second inning by the time we kickoff at 8?

 

I'm likely to come early enough to avoid the worst of the traffic arriving possibly as early as 4:30. Any suggestions for parking? I know there were some suggestions for eating earlier in the thread. Any good vegetarian option I shouldn't miss in the area? Finally, how early are others arriving? It sounded like maybe 5:30-6:00 (i.e. after work) is when people were planning on starting to gather, is that correct?

That's certainly a good option. It's only about 15 minutes from Alewife to Central Square on the Red Line, and just about two to three blocks from there to The Phoenix. There are also a ton of bus lines that run right into Central Square as well.



If you can make it, try and do so, as it would be fantastic if we could pack the place; I'd love to see us pushing 50 supporters when all is said and done.

If you're a bit north of Boston, then try to make the viewing at Tyng's Tavern.

 

Thai actually sounds better to me than Ethiopian... I'm down for that just let me know what time you want to do that.

I'll be at the PL tomorrow. Found out I don't have work on Wed. after all. Sweet! It may be tough to get there, b/c I usually take the Green Line into Boston from Riverside, but that'll be packed b/c of the playoff game. But I'm pretty sure I can find a way around that. Getting home (sober) may be another issue altogether, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

 

Count me out of Anna Liffey's; will be watching the game hopefully with mrt/MLS.
