I don't think so because, unlike Mr. Diggler, CBC has problems getting things straight. I think these are the same fans that followed Andrulis wherever he went and verbally assaulted him.
Boy howdy, this just gets more and more interesting. Which "local TV station" called the CBus fans "hooligans"? "Oughton also voiced his disdain for a local TV station's description of the fans as hooligans. " In fact, come to think of it, what "local TV station" would have the first damn clue what a "hooligan" is? Anyone?
For the record, a guy behind me did throw a paper cup of clear liquid at the refs as they went into the tunnel. He missed and it landed to the ref's left. Someone else threw a cup at EJ which also missed.
actually i pulled down my pants and started peeing wildly.. i missed ej though.. and actually got mostly this one old woman and the little autograph kid.. boy did i teach that kid a ********ing lesson.
It was 10TV because 10TV was the only one there. I think it was pretty inoccent though. To you and me and Duncan Hooligan means jumping fences with knifes and throwing burning Vespas from the upperdeck. To 10TV it's a cool soccer word they heard somewhere.
Oh well, can we say what a *cough* "sell-out" for their first game in Pizza Park: Doesn't really compare with that one beautiful evening in '99 when an overflow crowd of 24,741 pack CCS, does it?
Probably right. And with Peter's noting that 10TV is a member of the Wolff Family of Propaganda Pushing, er, I mean media outlets, then the story was likely sourced from our pal Lance Lodgepole -er, I mean Dave Devereux. As for Dallas's wonderful "inaugural game" attendance, let it be noted that it was just about HALF the crowd in Hunt Park that night in 2001. Sorry, morons. You suck.
i hope we have a pretty good crowd to give fc dallas a piece of our mind.. we got a extra day guys.. we have the metros.. not a long plain trip. we win that.. we get fc dallas at home.. we can win that with the emotion. then maybe the momentum can carry us to win the 26th we with the wizards.. in both no emotions arrowhead and giants stadium. then we got chivas twice.. and real once.. it isnt time to give up hope. probably fc dallas tied on purpose.. lol.
Me too, one of the best sporting events I've been to with my father, which I'll always remember. I imagine the only thing that gave Dallas fans chill last Saturday was this...well..whatever it is: Would YOU let your child go inside something that looks like that? If you're sane, I'd think not.
Thank you, captain obvious. You and I both know I'm referring to the empty seats in the obviously OPEN area in the photo. I was at the CCS opening, and every seat was packed, with the standing area full, as well. It's called a comparison, and I'd have to say your team lost. Oh well, at least the HDC packs/packed 'em in.
Attendance smack from Cowlumbus fans.....outstanding http://columbus.crew.mlsnet.com/MLS/schedule/season.jsp?team=coc
So because your ownership group can't get our ********ing stadium finished on time and they have to limit ticket sales, we're losing comparisons with the opening night of Erector Set Park? Whatever.
Concentrate hard, because it's tiring to have to break this down so simply for you. I'm saying there's still empty seats in areas that were OPEN for your stadium's semi-grand opening, which was not the case for the CCS opener. And since when did HSG become solely the Crew's ownership group? If you need more clarification, I suggest you complain to Phoenix Online for not getting the education you had hoped for.
Let me break this down for you: There were open seats because the stadium holds 21,193, they were allegedly only selling 15,000 seats, and they were not closing any sections. Some of us have better educations and can find better internships than "getting Peter Wilt's coffee for him."
https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=223254 Hypocrisy much? My road through MLS is just an attempt to Nick Sakiewicz your club into the ground. In doing so I will make Uncle Lamar, who apparently only has ownership of the Crew anyway, love MLS' original club that much more. Stay tuned.
