I'm all for that. Throw a team in Spokane and promote Lane United in Eugene. Not familiar with Ogden. RIP Reno...
Former U.S. international striker Charlie Davies was announced Thursday as the newest member of a prospective ownership group aiming to bring USL League One to New Hampshire for the 2022 season.
https://www.montereyherald.com/2021/02/01/pro-soccer-usl-to-put-pro-franchise-in-monterey/ The new franchise will be named Monterey Bay FC and will begin play in March of 2022.
Looks like a cool stadium. Will be interesting to see what improvements they make. More importantly will be interesting to see how they draw and what kind of team they end up with.
Very intrigued by the soccer landscape in California come 2022. There will be pro teams in San Jose, Carson, LA, San Diego, Orange County, Sacramento, Oakland, Monterey, and Fresno. Just wish we still had Reno.
Blame cheapskates for the failure of Reno. Heck, I don't know how long baseball will last in Reno. The Aces may have been saved from expulsion for now, but they are one of the worst drawing teams in Triple A, and I feel like there are many reasons for this.

-- I am ok with this, but there are very few USL-1 teams in the west, so travel expenses will be large. Now if Tacoma, Port2, SLC Monarchs and even LAG2 were to (properly) drop to USL1, that would all make sense geographically along with Tucson already being in the west.
Luis Miguel Echegaray @lmechegaray 36m former USWNT star @alywagner to make a BIG announcement! Aly joins @USLChampionship side @QueensboroFC as investor and advisor
It didn't help that fans were told New Orleans was moving after that season, so it created a "Why bother?" atmosphere, which only hurt attendance more.

Always liked their crest, so I'm happy to hear they may be moving up. Would be so awesome to see the USL go from 0 West Coast teams to Spokane, Eugene, and Central Valley (followed by Boise and Reno )

Either way expansion is coming also we have to remember that we are coming out of a pandemic which may have slowed things considerably
I have a very close friend that works for KG in a higher position that informally told me that it's just a matter of weeks. The city worked hard to get KG to relocate its corporate HQ to down and really wants the stadium in that location just a few blocks away. It's seen as the linchpin in a revitalized/long-neglected area.
Are you possibly going to the NPSL semis this weekend in Berea? Any idea on what Cleveland SC draws these days?
