63' 3-0 Bolivia subs in (3 of 6) #11 Bruno Miranda for LF #18 Rodrigo Vargas. 69' 3-0 Bolivia subs in (4 of 6) #9 Leonardo Vaca for RM #20 Ronaldo Sánchez. 70' 3-0 Green leads a surge up centerline, long ground pass splits 2 to Novakovich, but they pinch shut at box top and bump him off ball. 71' 3-0 Miranda runs to 24m box left, square pass centerward skips off the ref into Miranda's stride. Green takes ball, gets fallen-upon, back-heels ball forward to McKinnie. 73' 3-0 USA subs in (4 of 6) #20 Lynden Gooch for #23 Rubio Rubin. 74' 3-0 USA subs in (5 of 6) #2 Matthew Olosunde for RB #15 Eric Lichaj.
If by "this Bolivia team" you mean the one on the field, yes. But this isn't the team that tried to qualify for them.
76' 3-0 Vaca dribbles to 19m box left, high cross drops to 5m 5-right for Miranda. Robinson lunges left foot out, pokes ball past Vaca and over endline right. 77' 3-0 Bolivia right ck, outswings to 11m mid-left, pike header bounces wide left low.
This is like their B/C team though. They're missing the players that were with The Strongest, Bolivar and Wilstermann that played in the Libertadores.
Also raising Denver by 4000 more feet and then playing there every match would probably help a little.
I'm sure part of it has to do with how much I liked him as a player and the raw deal he got, but that's certainly not all of it. He's calm (his voice doesn't bother me) and he's not overbearing. I really hate those guys that stomp all over the game (Ray Hudson, Rongen, et al. are the worst). The point he made about Robinson's positioning is an example of a decent bit of analysis. His discussion about Pulisic's relatively poor showing has been informed by his own experience of a player (he's talked about what it's like at the end of a long season, echoed many on the board that he shouldn't have been called to begin with...) But I recognize that liking/not liking announcers has as much to do with the eye of the beholder as it does anything else.
79' 3-0 Bolivia subs in: - (5 of 6) #13 Rodrigo Rodríguez for LM #17 Juan Ribera - (6 of 6) #8 Leandro Maygua for LCM #6 Danny Bejarano. 79' 3-0 Rodríguez jukes past 1 to 24m arc right, shoots right foot toward left post -- ball deflects off Zimmerman's back at box top, rolls fast to right post with Bono wrong-footed and frozen -- just wide right low.
Can you blame him? Between this pointless match and the LAFC Friendly, he’s mainly here for ticket sales and ratings.
