American Outlae tickets a lottery system also? I remember it being like that sorta last time. Will AO tickets get a stub?
So does the general public get the same odds as everyone? Or do US Soccer members get first crack? How does US Soccer Ticketmaster differ from regular ticketmaster?
It is unclear if US soccer members get priority. It says they are part of an early lottery selection phase but then it says both lotteries close at the same time. Maybe they are running separate lotteries for members and non members? A lot of sports teams have Ticketmaster handles their season tickets. It is separate from the normal ticketmaster where you are use to buy tickets on.
Quite honestly , anyone who needed/wanted to get a ticket could find one at the night before and on the AO ticket exchange. I went to Columbus with 2 random singles outside of the AO end , over time I ende up with 5. Then easily got rid of them to fellow supporters.
Is that how they did it last time? I forget what happened when I purchased them. All I remember is that the system froze
Last year their only was a lottery for the general public, AO and US Supporters was first come first serve. Yes the AO system crashed apparently, my brother processed my order. I think anyone who got their order during the first day pretty much got them. US Supporters was a unique code through ticketmaster.
Has anybody received the email for US Soccer members? I have not. There is nothing in the FB page or member site.

Edit: US Soccer email announcing delay: "Good morning, We are sending this note to let you know that there has been a delay in the start of the ticket lottery process for the U.S. Men's National Team match against Mexico in the Final Round of FIFA World Cup Qualifying on Nov. 11 in Columbus, Ohio. We wanted to make sure you know once the ticket lottery process timeline is set members will still have priority access to enter the lottery before the general public. Man I am so nervous about this. I've been to the last 2 Mexico WCQ's in Columbus as an Outlaw supporter and am afraid of not winning tickets through the lottery.
I'm still not receiving e-mails from them. So frustrating. Is there a new login page for membership where you can change settings or at least look at your status level? I just joined but I have 5+ "caps".
I tried going last cycle but by the time they went to the general public most of the tickets I think we're scooped up. I just went on and can't even sign up for the lottery yet :/
A further update from US Soccer: "Good evening, We wanted to provide you with an update on the USA v. Mexico ticket lottery process timeline. The online application as well as instructions on how to apply for tickets will be sent on Monday, Sept. 26. Members will have priority in the lottery before the general public. We appreciate your patience. U.S. Soccer"
