I agree with you whole heartedly on the green girl, is there any siginificance to the color green. Are green girls of Norwegian Rosenborg tippeleagan descent? I am not sure your facts assessment is accurate, I took it to be more of a courtesy to MB to give him a chance to work his way into the side so he did not end up buried on the depth chart. Maybe it was a message, but MB does not strike me as a kind of player that needs any message other than keep up the good work young fella.
Maybe the game is next week, or is this an alternate Pre-game thread that is really just a pycsch study in bias in USA Outside backs?
There are some people that can't see the forest for the trees. According to JK's press conferences, Evans and Beasley are part of the squad. People can either have aneurisyms about that or not. It's reality. Klinsmann has said repeatedly now that he doesn't view these October games as a time to experiment with new players. Here's how I've viewed his tenure. Klinsmann looked at a large group of players over his first year in charge. He then selected a team he thought could qualify us for the World Cup. Check. He selected an almost completely different team he thought could win the Gold Cup. Check. Going forward now....................... The current group are getting their chance in these two October games. European/Mexico based fringe players will get their chance in the November games. MLS/Scandinavia based fringe players will get their chance in the January camp. Following that Klinsmann will assemble a pool of ~30 players to prepare for the World Cup. The truth is that Klinsmann has earned our trust with the results that the team has achieved over the past two years. The results justify the means...........................because in the end this is a results oriented business. After the January camp, if Klinsmann thinks players X,Y, or Z are better fullback options than Beasley and Evans..................then I trust he'll make the change. He keeps using Evans, because THE TEAM HAS NEVER LOST WITH EVANS IN THE STARTING XI.
U.S. Soccer @ussoccer 19s Starting XI: Howard; Evans, Cameron, Besler, Beasley; Bedoya, Diskerud, Jones, Donovan; Johannsson, Altidore

Going to be interesting to see how Jones and Diskerud function together in central midfield. Jones better rein in those stray passes if Mix is to do his things behind the forwards.
Wow, we're going after Jamaica. Will Jones keep his hero tendencies out of his game tonight and let Mix, LD and Bedoya create, or is this going to be a 3-5-2 with Cameron attempting to cover Jones' vacated space?
Doesn't it always usually morph into a 3-5-2 with Beasley overlapping into the spot usually vacated by the LW? Its the reason JK has liked Evans as a RB because he can stay home.
LOVE the lineup...people viewing this as a balls out attacking lineup? Dont see it. Mix has improved drastically in his defense since last year
