I know. I've driven on it in Oklahoma. My has to do with Charlie's reply to my post: which to me, doesn't have anything to do with my comment:
Well, technically, your comment was inaccurate. The US Highway System predates the Interstate Highway System. US 75 was around a couple of decades before the Interstate Highway System was a twinkle in Dwight Eisenhower's eye.
We are in a pedantic mood, aren't we. You're technically correct. US 75 was not the "former name" of I-45. But considering that much of I-45 was built exactly right on top of where U.S. 75 ran, and that U.S. 75 was de-activated (or whatever they call it) between Dallas and Galveston and replaced by I-45, "former name" seems close enough for government work.
Back in LA now. Had a fantastic time in Dallas. Thanks for coming to the screening, Rocket, it was great to meet you. Hope to come back to Dallas for MLS Cup, regardless of which teams are playing.... Thanks.
I really enjoyed your movie, Patrick, and hope you all have luck in getting it distributed. Please let me know if you ever sell it on DVD as I'd like to purchase a copy.
