For those that are local, we'll be having a Sam's Army banner painting party at my house in Cary, Sunday April 9th at 2pm! http://www.trisoccerfan.com/bannerparty.html Jarrett
With the news that JOB is healthy, and trying to sign with an MLS game. I would bet that he gets called in for this match. Not sure if I want him to play, keep him in carbonite until June please.
Forgive me for being such a poseur, but I'm just too lazy to read through this entire thread. Does anybody have any extra tickets?
Ditto, and the guy who wants to go with me is a Jamacan. Can he get tickets some way? (Asside from bringing some of that "stuff from home" and talking with a few scalpers.)
Ok, excuse me for being dense. Where is GSO? I'll be in 205, 13 rows up directly behind the goal. I'm hoping my section gets swallowed by the Army. Speaking of Sam's club, how many people are actually planning on tailgating? I've got my Weber Smokey Joe Jr., brats, and a mess of Red Stripe.
I'm sort of offended. It's how the locals abbreviate Greensboro. It's the airport code for PTIA. And to think that I was trying to save myself some keystrokes by typing GSO instead of Greensboro.
Charleston, SC representing, myself and two others driving up. one other meeting us there. looks to be a couple others coming up from Chucktown and surrounding areas on there own section 207 mikey
10 coming up from Fayetteville, NC. Section 205 Row D 1-4 and Row J 16-21 We will be there early and stay late (entry and exit at SAS is really slow, so might as well plan and enjoy the time).
15 Port City Firm members coming up from Wilmington, NC...our tickets only say Gen Adm...we hope to be sitting behind the goal and will be there hours early to avoid Cary traffic and for proper intoxication by game time.
Eight Cameron Crazies coming from Durham. General admission tickets, planning on sneaking into the Sam's Army section. Will be doing some serious tailgating before hand... -Ben
2 coming up from Columbia, SC; planning to be there between 1-2pm in the tailgate spot. Hoping to grab some local bbq for lunch.
As of 5:30pm on Tues, 4/4/2006 they are some tickets available for this match via TicketMaster: http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0E003C52A7D08400?artistid=821723&majorcatid=10004&minorcatid=11 US Soccer must have released some seats they were holding. Jarrett
And if that wasn't good news enough, I just found out that Fox and Hound has changed their drink specials on Tuesday night to $2.25 pints (from $2.50). So that's like every 10th one free!
Sweet. My wife is worried about money, but we will be there. I am on cruches following ankle sugery, somehow I will fit into Sam's Army.
Just wanted to post here, it looks like I may have an extra ticket for the game. I'll have it with me at the tailgate. Face value to US supporters only. I'll be wearing this shirt.
The team arrived today in Cary... Photos and practice report at my blog: http://trisoccerfan.blogspot.com/2006/04/us-men-arrive-in-cary.html
