The result might be the least meaningful. Though maybe the actual play might show a thing or two? I should dig through past results of friendlies before the WC for national teams. Didn't France lose to powerhouses like Saudi Arabia before WC1998?
Good point. Results are nice but it is most important to learn about the chemistry between different players, practice, and create your team for the World Cup. Of course if you are winning then the above things may be more obvious than when you are losing. Also in order to get "revenge" we need to knock them out of the World Cup - exta sweet since it would be in Germany!!
well it was not USA alone who won the World war II.... regarding friendly Germany will win 2:1... bltleo GERMANY
I often hear about american wish for revenge fo rbeeing knocked out of a world cup....see in WC 06, we will not meet soon, ...we are not in the same group..i think the earliest we can meet in half-finale (semi-finale)... maybe we will meet and if you lose again, would you want second revenge for Germany?...well Germany knocked many good teams from the World Cup in the past - we knocked Holland in 1974 (favorite)....so many wants revange for Germany...not just USA.... i will be in Dortmund and watch the game life.... my forecast is 2:1 for Germany and maybe we will win the whole world cup...i know what you are going to say....that I was arrogant german.... bltleo GERMANY
You had to go and put the whole thing in perspective, didn't you. You know the real world is not welcome here. ________________________________ "Boss! The plane, the plane!"
