UPSL is pleased to announce South Carolina Heat as its newest expansion club ahead of the Spring Season.
Based in Columbia, SC, South Carolina Heat will begin UPSL play in the Southeast Conference Mid-Atlantic Division. The club will host its home games at Southeastern Freight Lines Soccer Complex (115 Sunbelt Blvd, Columbia, SC 29203).
SC Heat is co-owned by Nick Lewis and Dean Smith and a branch of Sorinex FC, a multiple USASA Region III champion and two-time Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Qualifying Round finalist.
UPSL is pleased to announce Brothers United Football Club as its newest expansion team ahead of the Spring Season.
Based in Colorado Springs, CO, Brothers United will begin UPSL play in the Western Conference Colorado Division. The club will host its home games at Kent Olin Field (2212 Executive Cir., Colorado Springs, CO 80906).
Friday Ezeute is Owner and Head Coach of Brothers United FC. Easton Dean is the Sporting Director.
UPSL is pleased to announce Irvine FC as its newest expansion club ahead of the Spring Season.
Based in Irvine, CA, Irvine FC will begin UPSL play in the Western Conference SoCal Division.
Irvine FC is operated by Cyrus Safari and Shayan Hesabi.
NVUFC and Dundee United Ink Partnership
Today, Northern Virginia United FC, who play in both the NPSL and UPSL, announced a new partnership with Scottish Premiership club Dundee United FC. The impacts of the agreement could prove massive for the Virginia-based club as both “clubs will share development, operational and talent ID processes.”
As part of the agreement, NVUFC will rebrand to align with the Dundee crest.

Soccer is back in full swing at top amateur levels after being almost entirely shut down in 2020. Right now, four leagues (USL League 2, NPSL, UPSL and NISA affiliates) have 440 teams playing vs. 388 in 2019. (I'm trying to assemble a spreadsheet breaking them down by state.)
It is absolutely gobsmackingly amazing. I'm looking forward to a WPSL game tomorrow night (not included in your list, but still important) and looking forward to Midwest Premier League action soon as well (the season started, but my schedule hasn't worked for it). Then USL2 next year as well. I'll be curious to see how these compare to the DI and DIII university games I watch occasionally.
