One the English guys said it was in the comments on the YouTube feed. It is a just an awful display of football regardless.

Well.......so far I'm happy to say Brobbey is proving me wrong. I hope he keeps it up. Might even get an Oranje callup
this team makes it difficult every match. Just when you think they have it under control, pfft, it goes all wrong. Huge possession and scads of good shots and by all rights, there should have been 6 goals on the board for Ajax. Stupid errors by both CBs led to the two entirely preventable Heracles goals, but that's the story and it has been like this all season long. Brobbey with some great center forward play and Hlynsson also acive at 10 with some good passing and a well taken goal. HOLD YOUR BREATH: Tahirovic was entirely convincing in the MF tonight, great pass to Brobbey on the first goal and his passing game was more than decent. Player Ratings: Ramaj (6) - unfairly scored upon twice but did bobble a couple of easy saves Goojier (5) - had some good moments but gave the ball up cheaply several times with weak passes Rensch (6.5) - other than the very poor play on the 2nd Heracles goal, he had a decent game Hato (6.5) - Cal Ripken streak continues but oh what a schoolboy error on the first goal and then he gets a deflection on the 2nd leaving Ramaj wrong footed Martha (6) - good going forward and defending was average (Lucas Jetten is the long term solution at LB but he's only 16 right now) Tahirovic (7) - never thought I would say that this player had a very GOOD game but maybe sits now that Henderson is in the team Taylor (6) - had some chances on goal but a couple of times he should have shot early and didn't Hlynsson (7) - very nice game with good pressing, passing and a nice goal Berghuis (7) - captain in place of an injured Bergwijn and played very well, tracked back as needed and was always free for an outlet pass Brobbey (8) - two great goals and was a constant danger all match long Forbs (6.5) - not a bad match and another one who had some opportunities to score but just could not get the ball in Gaaei (NR) - on late for Goojier Banel (NR) - on late for Forbs PSV up next at home. This will be a true test of this van't Schip Ajax squad. JUST WIN BABY, YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE!!!!
As Orange 14 said Ajax just make things difficult for themselves. I’ll start with the good and that would be Brobbey who had 2 high quality finishes to go along with his solid movement and touches as he continues to show better feet in tight spaces. Berghuis as Captain led by example with excellent work ethic and some real class on the ball. Hlynnson has been showing some more quality scoring again and setting up another goal. Yes what Orange14 said about Tahirovic is true a good match from him. I can’t believe I’m saying it myself but congrats to him. Enjoy the bench. The bad on the night was the first goal conceded was pathetic with a massive hole in between Hato and Rensch from midfield just giving the first goal away. Rensch I thought was poor tonight and back to his lazy past, with poor positioninal play, and lack of awareness. Ramaj too on second goal I thought possibly could have done better despite the deflection, and I’ll say it again I’m just not convinced by him.
Also, maybe Henderson being around has lit a fire under Tahirovic - he was very enjoyable to watch today.
AZ in a stretch of really bad form right now. Hopefully Heerenveen will continue that and give us a hand. Ditto for 010 against Twente.
Sutalo is injured. Kaplan has not played more than a single half for Jong Ajax after missing all of last season with a serious knee injury.
The “problem” for Kaplan is he is left footed therefore in today’s rigid tactics most Managers are not inclined to play him at the right sided centerback. Furthermore Rensch could go back to his normal rightback position although Gooijer has looked quite capable in that role. I would suspect the very ordinary yet expensive Croatian Sutalo would go back to the RCB spot. I would dump him if the money is right during the summer and kudos to Van’t Schip for giving the youth some chances. One youngster I yearn to see is Misehouy, but his current situation is not good, and this young talent may have wrecked his chances of remaining at Ajax by not signing a new contract .
I think he leaves and Ajax pick up PSV's Babadi who is also running out his contract and may be a better long term prospect.
Unfortunately AZ got a point today while playing a man down. Feyenoord were very stale against Twente drawing 0-0. Gimenez looking quite poor again missed a penalty. Wieffer zero impact playing in front of Ronald Koeman today.
My bad with the previous post I should have put that in another thread. If someone could move it to its proper location it would be appreciated. Apologies
ajax is reeling in Twente and AZ quickly. If somehow they pull off a result against psv next week, third feels very reasonable. heck, they’re only nine points off Feyenoord at this point!
PSV at home will be a big test for Ajax. Presumably Henderson will feel the right way and be in the lineup. After that, presuming they can continue this run of form, the next big match would be away to AZ on Feb 25.
Lang will miss Ajax game About time we catch a break https://www.telegraaf.nl/sport/1630...opnieuw-uit-de-roulatie-bij-psv-mist-ajax-uit
