United NOT touring US in 2005

    I think so. They've already got a stranglehold on the average American. The Japanese are crazy anyway and spend tons on merchandise. Give the Asians some love...

    While I am glad United "rule" here I wish they'd just rest players rather than go on tour. Our internationals would probabley need more rest than work during the summer.

    I agree to figuring the flight from ENG to Japan is a lot longer than the hop across the pond.

    Well... there wont be Euro and Copa and WCQ next year so it will be much needed match practice actually.

    I can't see that many USA folks being too sad about this, if it's true. Many were upset about the quality of matches vs. price...

    Fans that went to see Man U were dissappointed because the really saw the reserves. People that went to see Chelsea, Liverpool, Celtic, AC Milan, etc were happy to see most of the stars play. I do find it interesting that Arsenal has no interest in cracking the American market.

    We all knew they weren't coming back until after the next World Cup anyways....
