I know this is a still a long way off, but this would be our next close road support opportunity. We had a respectable showing for the RBNY trip, but nothing to really shock anyone. Certainly not something any reliable source would call an 'invasion'... . I think between the team & SoB's we could have done better if the word was out earlier so I'm looking forward to the DC trip. DC should be an easier trip to plan because the parking situation is a lot better and would be more suitable for buses. That might help. On the other hand, people aren't going to be be starving to watch a game because we will have had 8 home games in the prior 5 weeks (Quakes, Celtic, TFC, Man Utd, Revs, Crew, RSL, Rapids). So our turn-out could be hurt by the # of people trying to catch up on their honey-do lists. I'm going to be on vacation for a couple of weeks leading up to this game. So I'll miss 4 home matches and will really be anxious to travel for this one but I won't have innerweb access so I might miss out on details if they're posted after end of July. So any early details, even if they aren't totally soid yet, would be appreciated.
I already sold my Phillies tickets for that day so my family and I are in bus trip or not! Hoping for an organized bus trip, but will be driving if not!

I was wondering if we could set up a donation/tip jar at the tailgates and run a 50-50 to help lower the costs of travel?
I'm hoping that some organized away travel will be arranged but I'm going there regardless. In the years to come, as we mature as a supporters group, I'm hoping to see a travel option to every away game. That will take time, though.
Maybe if we can get enough Lanco's to go we could rent our own van or minibus. When I get home from work I'll try to remember to post something on the Lancaster Union Fans Facebook page & see what sort of interest there is...
