Uniforme Nuevo de la Seleccion Colombiana

it’s yellow so already off to a bad start.

a plain yellow polo isn’t nice either. Wish we’d stuck with red and blue.

 

I like it if it is simple as the pictures indicate.

I love adidas, but damn their last designs have been horrid. Also, you don't want nike, Nacional has nike jerseys and most of the time they are horrid.

Also, yellow is our color... our jersey should be yellow.

its the same as the plain one from 2014 (I have that one) and the one that was I think WCQ for 2018 with the little collar.

EDIT: found a pic; this one is my favorite one I think. Nicer than the new one

 

compared to the current one it should be lauded as a masterpiece.

Go to DHGate. I am done paying $99 for jerseys that I will wear 3 or 4 times a summer. Now I pay $20 for a knock-off and I'm done.

 

Adidas online store always has a sale. Wait a few weeks and they do 30% off everything.

I agree tho my parents when they go to colombia every year they go into the adidas store and just buy me everything in the clearance rack. My wife jokes that my mom raided one of the players closets

 

I don't buy knock-offs really, I do think the originals are expensive but that is why I only buy the ones that I trully like, and that is how it should be.

For example nike has been with Nacional for years - since 2013 - and I have only bought 2 jerseys from them. I liked adidas way more. They did some good designs with nacional. However they have dropped the ball greatly with Colombia. Not too many good jerseys (but more than nike that is for sure).

 

adidas haven't done anything at all honestly, just plain blank t shirt looking jerseys. The most interesting one they did was the red one from the WC.

 

But for jerseys i prefer simple rather than overcomplicated... look at germany's or argentina's jerseys, solid serious and beautiful.

ours is always grounds for "crativity" and often comes out wrong.

 

im fine with simple but its all about the details, but with ours its usually just a yellow shirt with some stripes on the shoulders and thats it.

And just a reminder as to how the road uniforms look:

 

Ugh... I forgot about the clorox stain

 

I don't like "the stain" either or the combo of yellow shorts with blue socks.
On the road I hope we stray away from the picture above and just wear all blue.

More than likely the home shorts are blue and the socks are red (which I also do not like but at least it is traditional). Yellow shirts, blue shorts and red socks are so 2009 but I expect it to be our combo as long as Queiroz is manager.



It will be interesting to see if we ever wear a combo of yellow shirts and yellow shorts but it may look bad with red or blue socks. (Rather have light colored socks for that combo.)

I can see us doing it at home on a very hot unbearable day in Barranquilla.
Maybe a Road match like Chile cause they usually wear blue shorts.
