Can there also be a second wager per game on who will score the first Crew goal of the game? I don't think you need to list out the players names, but it would add something nice for each game other than pure score-line. Are there any other open wagers currently? I'll go with 2, Buddle opens his account, and Martino provides the brace. I think they'll surrender a goal unfortunately. It'll be early June before Crew start the journey to break the record for clean sheets in a row.
I'll go with an opening game tie. We will, however, be moral victors and the players will carried shoulder high from the field by by KC fans who have been shown the path to soccer enlightenment.

I think it's more likely that Crew play in front of an intimidating 47 people, at the fortress known as Arrowhead Stadium.
I can do that if a couple other people think it's a good idea. If so, we will start after the 04/01 match in KC. List the name of the scorer or "nobody" with your choice. If you leave it blank, you've made no choice (i.e. if you think the Crew will be blanked, choose "nobody"). There are Buddle starting and Home Opener attendance wagers but they are closed. Most goals, assists, etc. will probably open a couple games into the season when we get an idea of who is going to do what for the Crew. We have a new team and it will take some time collect data to make a good decision.

Franklin has to go in on an absolutely horrendous challenge, usually late and two footed. Within nano-seconds of nearly crippling someone he must pop up, knowing full well the card is coming, and pre-emptively start waiving his fists at the referee. The flop generally ends with Hejduk the Hasbeen either standing there in complete disbelief that he's gotten a card, with both hands on his hips, or trotting away, shaking his head, all the while still jawing at the ref stating that there's no way that was a cardable offense.
