I know, I am way premature for this post, but I just watched UFC Primetime on Spike TV & got caught up in the hype. IMHO Rashad's intelligence wins this fight for him. Checkout the rest of the card:

    * Light Heavyweight bout: Quinton Jackson vs. Rashad Evans
    * Middleweight bout: Michael Bisping vs. Dan Miller
    * Heavyweight bout: Todd Duffee vs. Mike Russow
    * Light Heavyweight bout: Antônio Rogério Nogueira vs. Jason Brilz
    * Welterweight bout: Diego Sanchez vs. John Hathaway
    * Welterweight bout: Amir Sadollah vs. Dong Hyun Kim
    * Lightweight bout: Efrain Escudero vs. Dan Lauzon
    * Lightweight bout: Melvin Guillard vs. Waylon Lowe
    * Light Heavyweight bout: Luiz Arthur Cane vs. Cyrille Diabaté
    * Lightweight bout: Aaron Riley vs. Joe Brammer
    * Middleweight bout: Jesse Forbes vs. Ryan Jensen

If by intelligence you mean he's going to alternate takedowns and pansy jabs, I agree. I really hope not though. Rashad isn't dumb, I don't think he will stand and trade with Rampage the whole fight, but I hope he actually attempts to fight and doesn't pull a GSP.

You forgot another big strategy for 'Page...Low leg kicks. 'Page never checks them. Rashad is versatile enough to use that weapon. Anyway, I believe you will be a bitter fight fan, because Suga Rashad is faster than 'Page & 'Page won't be able to hit Suga. ;) I hope you enjoy the rest of the card ;)

Back to the fights....who are we picking in the main event? I'm taking Rashad by decision.

    Jackson VS Evans

Just wanted to start talking about this one. I will be rooting for Evans I personally think he is a much more well rounded fighter just has to stay away from Quinton power which is kinda confusing since he has knocked out some really tough guys but couldn't finish some who seem to have weak chins but we'll see what happens

Pretty good card overall, its just a shame that Brilz was robbed of the W.

    Threads merged.

I figured Rashad would decision him. He made the right call testing Rampage's stamina as Quinton seemed to gas out for a moment. Rampage very nearly got him in the third round, but Rashad had his way most of the fight.

So, Rashad vs. Shogun in the Fall, anyone?

I don't want to live off of my predictions, but you could see this coming. I don't think 'Page should have taken this bout. He should have fought a cup cake before fighting Suga Rashad. I mean coming into camp weighing 250lbs?? That right there spelled doom for 'Page. He might get a rematch vs. Suga before a fight for the title. I think that would be an injustice for Suga Rashad, but the UFC is all about business & I think a rematch of Suga & 'Page might be more profitable than Suga vs. Shogun. Personally I rather have the later match up, but it's up to Dana White & the Fertitta Bros.
