    The UEFA Futsal Championship is the main futsal competition of the men's national futsal teams governed by UEFA (the Union of European Football Associations).

    2012 UEFA Futsal Championship Croatia:

    The 2012 UEFA Futsal Championship is the 8th official edition of the UEFA European Championship for national futsal teams. It is hosted by Croatia, and is played in February 2012. 12 teams will compete for the title, with 11 teams gain entries from qualification rounds. Croatia gain automatic entry as host. Championship will be played in two biggest Croatian cities, Zagreb at 15,024 seater Arena Zagreb and in Split, at 10,931 Spaladium Arena.
    Spain is defending champion, having won third title in a row in Hungary in 2010 edition.

    Three nations had made bids for the 2012 Championship. Alongside Croatia, Belgium made a new bid, having failing in the 2010 bid, with Antwerp and Charleroi and Macedonia with the city of Skopje. Croatia was selected to host the Championship by a decision made on March 24, 2010, at the UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Tel Aviv, Israel.

    Forty-two nations took part in 2012 edition. Host nation qualified directly, while other had to go through qualification rounds.
    Qualification is played in two stages, with 24 sides competing in the preliminary round between 20–24 January 2011. Group winners progressed to join the other 18 entrants in the next phase. In the main qualifying round, which is taking place between 24–27 February 2011, 24 teams are split in 6 groups of 4 teams. Winners and best five second-placed teams will join Croatia in Finals.

    Croatia will play in Spaladium Arena against Romania and Czech Republic.
