why the hell was he so far in front of his goal trying to act as a sweeper if there were already two defenders marking Dzeko ... god his retarded ass is REALLY pissing me off .... ( awaits for the horde of people who are going to somehow defend him again ... )

He has to be in that position. It was a great strike with pace. He was in perfect position to cover a cross or a centered ball. Perhaps the real issue was allowing the shot from the touch line. I can't see a better position for a GK to be in. If you are too far back you leave too much space in front of you and can't come off fast enough. He was in his box where he should be.

    Brilliant strike - that's all.

I have no skin in the game between MATS and Bravo - they both have their plusses and minuses. Both are good keepers and both are capable of achieving a result.

Bravo is far better and more experienced in tough atmospheres like this, but its not like there exists much choice at the moment so I have no clue what Puyol is blowing a gasket over. It's like screaming for Pedro to come on to replace Suarez.

    Selective memories.
Against Malaga a couple of weeks ago Bravo was a good 10-15 yards outside his area when Juan Carlos tried a long distance from the halfway line.
The only difference between then and now were the accuracies of the shots.

I was the only one who mentioned it in that thread.

Get that piece of Shit MATS out and put Bravo in there. MATS is just another Valdes in the making, amazing great saves wrapped around blunders. He's not good enough. Bravo all the way, he's way better than this junk head.

    Nice shot though.

Not really selective memories. Just saying Bravo is better, but obviously he's not perfect. I hope Bravo gets the nod in the CL starting in October. Got away with it last season but it helped that Barca blasted out to leads quickly in pretty much every round of the CL knockout phase. It would be pushing it to use a back-up 'keeper in the CL again.

1 - the ball possession was with us and Juan instantly made the shot after a miss pass from pique i think , Carlos didn't get the ball and ran with it for an hour before shooting , he took it directly and it was a mistake by the defense not Bravo.

2- Dzeko was covered by two players mathieu AND pique and was no where near the area yet MATS decided to go out just for fun even though the ball was with the Roma player.

these two incidents have no similarities whatsoever , but good try man , can't wait for more people with other excuses to defend him :cautious:

What is sad that some members here are attacking Bravo and criticizing him for shit that isn't even true just because they want to get MATS off the hook , i just don't get it , what did Bravo do exactly to get all this hate and what did MATS do to get all this unconditional love regardless of what BS he do ?!?!?!

Defensive mistake, yes. But Bravo should never be out of his area just in case situations like that arise.
