Yes, I stopped watching that match after the 5th goal. I have no idea why UCLA looked so bad against them on Thursday. We also didn’t look impressive against the Buffs on Sunday despite securing 3 points. Hopefully we improve this week.
Team moved into a 4-4-2 this year and they seem to be lacking in goals. Perhaps a return to the 4-3-3 is in order? Also, curious if Turner is dealing with an injury. Only ask because her minutes seem low (for her) in these close games.
GOALLLLLLLLLLL UCLA! No. 10 with her 10th goal of the season! After a handball in the box, @miafishel10 nails the penalty kick to make it 2-0 in the 31st minute! #GoBruins pic.twitter.com/WlIaCRVyWy— UCLA Women's Soccer (@UCLAWSoccer) October 22, 2021
We beat the Huskies 3-1. I rooted for USC to lose but they ended up just with a 0-0 game with WSU after double overtime. Hopefully WSU be all tuckered out on Sunday when we face them. They are a top 5 team for sure and we have to be on our A game in these last conference games if we have any chance at Pac-12 title this season.
GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL UCLA! @KennedyJade_ with a rocket in the 15th minute!UCLA 1, WSU 0#GoBruins pic.twitter.com/yrglLxXhoG— UCLA Women's Soccer (@UCLAWSoccer) October 25, 2021 UCLA FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! UCLA 1-0 WSU
We are up by one at halftime. I believe Id be more comfortable with a second or third goal. Cougs could easily tie this up if they get behind our defense.
With the left! @KennedyJade_ scores her third goal of the season to give UCLA an early 1-0 lead at Washington State. 📺: @Pac12Network📲: https://t.co/zXoop7QIP8#GoBruins pic.twitter.com/1t4EgGs9Mn— UCLA Women's Soccer (@UCLAWSoccer) October 25, 2021
Welp, had a chance to overtake USC but we ended up a tie with a heavy talented Washington State team. Entertaining match. Now back to LA to face the California teams at home.
Whomever designed the Bruins jerseys this year must have telescopic vision cause those numbers are small and hard to read

Congrats to the Bruins. If we beat Cal on Sunday, the match against USC next Friday will determine who is the PAC-12 conference champ.
Woke up from my nap and USC tied it against Stanford, darn… USC 2-2 Stan Now I have both UCLA and USC games on EDIT ughhh Stanford choked away 2 goals and USC wins it overtime.

Great! Back in the day when I was at UCLA a couple of times, the teams sat on that side and they were open only to UCLA students. It was something that left me with not good feelings about the program at that time. I am glad to see it has changed. Good luck with the game. It may have a big effect on NCAA Tournament seeding.
