Classy nuff very classy. Beautiful thread.

Teams i would like to get
    1. Fener
    2. Celtic
    3. Roma

    Team i hope we'll get
Arsenal (I must have my revenge)

Teams we'll probably end up with
    1. Lyon
    2. Schalke

Contrary to popular belief i think we wont get liverpool.
Actually bring anybody on. If we cant beat the good teams at this stage we dont expect to beat them in the next round. What say nuff?

    :)

Yeah, I rated Roma below Lyon because of our not so long ago beating of Roma (was a nice game for the Galacticos if I remember correctly), and Lyon's current bogeyteam awesomeness against us :D

Also, Schalke and Fenerbache are mere coin tosses; I know both of them have quite strong home support and decent squads; however I am so stoked we finally have the home game in the return leg. It's been awhile.

    Hala Madrid!

I think momentum is a huge factor.

And .'. getting an easier team now means we can throw it up against a stronger team later.

My 'choice' of an upset 'easy' team making the semi finals ala Villareal afew years ago? Provided they don't play us (;)), Olympiacos and/or Fenerbache.

Gut feeling as of, a day after the final round has been played, WHO WILL BE IN THE SEMI FINALS: (despite what I said above)

    Real Madrid
    Inter Milan
    Liverpool
    Barca/Arsenal/Manchester United.

    *excited*

Obviously our best choice would be to go up against the lesser teams but as a matter of footballing choice, i would want to play Liverpool or Lyon.

    I want:
    Liverpool
    Lyon [For obvious reason]

ahhh i can't wait til the 21st! would love this draw to happen friday! winning la liga has got to be our turning point, we'll definitely make it through the round of 16, bring on any team we've got a squad to take on all of europe this season i say. i personally want liverpool of all of them. yeah seeking revenge on arsenal would be great and knocking out our bogey team lyon would be sweet too but just something about liverpool i just hate so much  i'd welcome those whore cules as well, would be a great season to take full points from both classicos and knocking them out of europe as well! hala madrid putos! :D

Whats up with the Inter logo and the @ symbol?

Anyway, I'd like to get Celtic or Fener, easily the two weakest sides in the tournament. Although away they will both be tough, getting all our players out of the Sakri Saracoglu Stadium will be a challenge, Turkish fans are absolutely apeshit wild. It would be nice to play against Roberto Carlos though.

I was supposed to change logos of clubs which I did not like but deicided not to go through with it. I guess I forgot about inter :p

There's something in each team that makes me want RM to face them, except for Roma

    Don't like the club: Liverpool
Team I want just to make things easier this early: Schalke
Team I want because of their fans: Celtic
    Revenge: Arsenal/ Lyon
    Roberto Carlos : Fenerbache

I know some teams look easier than others, but at this stage I don't really think it matters who you get, it's still going to be a tough game whoever.

I think last year most people would have been happy drawing a poor Munich and look what happened there.
These games are so far ahead it is impossible to predict what state the opposition will be in by that time,so, while most want to avoid say Arsenal, come the time of the game, we may be playing an injury hit Arsenal team that are in the middle of a terrible domestic run and low on confidence.
The line "be careful what you wish for,you may just get it" always come to mine in these situations.
    Whoever we get...bring it on.;)

Really great thread nuff, top work again.

All teams will be difficult, I wouldn't say Fenerbahce would be easy due to their fans, then again, it's 2 legs, and we'd take them quite comfortably at home IMO.

I am going to be completly honest and seriously not know how to feel if little RC scores at the Bernabeu.

Unless he scores an own goal, I don't see why there would be conflicting emotions.

I hoping for a RC return to the Bernabeu. :)

I am also hoping against Arsenal/Liverpool despite what people say about having to beat the hardest teams eventually. The idea is to have the easiest route possible to the final in case of injuries or simply having an off game, not to mention that cards are more likely during a hard fought match.

Yeah, but he'd kick the sh*t out of Guti/Sneijder/Gago, so no thanks. We don't have that many spare midfielders.
