I was very surprised at this match. #3 UAB against a very inconsistent, mediocre USF squad (0-2-1 in CUSA play). UAB had the better of the play in the scoreless first half but were unable to finish any of their chances. USF scored early in the 2nd half and went on to win rather easily 2-1. I expected quite a bit more of UAB, but they appear to be on a downward slide, not unlike SLU. They did a very good job controlling the pace of the game but their defense showed alot of holes and they couldnt seem to finish anything. My guess is consecutive losses to Birmingham Southern and USF will take UAB out of the top 10.
