Since we don't have any playoffs for Euro04 to worry about I have for for the first time in my life watched a youth game with interest. Sweden's U21 team, against if not all odds then against most odds and common football sense, defeated Spain 2-0 at home in the playoff for the European youth championship. Looking forward to the second leg. We might actually qualify! Cool :)

Not the greatest game from the swedish side, Spain dominated large periods, but it's the goals that count. And putting A-team players like Källström and Isaksson on the team was a really good move.

Denmarks U21 met Italy in playoffs. 1-1 on home turf, and 0-0 away meant Italy went through. Didn't get to see the matches, but according to what I've heard, Denmark had the chances to win at least one game, but it could just as well have tipped the other way.

Sweden did qualify after drawing 1-1 in Spain.
