They were just pimping this on CNN. It was my impression that the one they had on there was a combination of both new ipods (U2 version and the picture ipod,) but that may have been just me not paying attention to what they were talking about.
My friend is a senior editor for CNET and is San Jose at the unveiling today. I can hardly wait for a full report tonight on it. Maybe he'll get a free one or something...
Meh, I'm a huge U2 fan, but I seriously doubt I'll go for this. The color scheme and "autographs" just aren't worth the extra $50 (a regular 20GB iPod is $299), and as for the "Digital Box Set", I'm pretty sure I already have everything in it. Nice idea, but not enough incentive for most fans, I would think. I'm happy with my iPod mini anyways.
