If there was ever a roster that emphasized the bi-coastal bias of US youth teams its this one. :)

    Seems like a strong group................!!!

Glad to see Ben Lederman with them.

Or just the California bias. I know there are an incredible amount of very talented kids there, but 10 out of 22 (including Lederman since he's from Cali, even if this roster says barcelona) is ridiculous

Very interesting observation...what about the tall kid from Chicago not good enough?

What is purpose of flying all the way there for training camp? Is there some special grass they will be playing on?

I thought the same thing. Perhaps UAE is somehow incentivising teams to play there in some way.

Yeah it has to be something like expenses paid, especially when you consider how stingy the USSF can be.

Is anyone sure that Goslin has citizenship? His USDA profile says his nationality is Jamaica. It wouldn't be the first time that US Soccer has invited non-citizens to U-15 camps.

To play Oman, UAE, and Al Jazira with our best team available for that age group. Makes no sense other than a rich dictator's son like youth soccer alot and is overpaying everyone. A sort of Beyonce birthday bash sort of thing.

How does Haji's brother compare to him? Who is better?

Saying that Haji is two years older and one of the top players for the U17 team, I would think he's better.

Yeah, he's a 2000 and most players on this team are 99's. I'm too lazy to check, so I'm not sure if Lederman's the only U14 eligible player on this roster.

Much more raw than Haji was at that age, which is saying quite a bit.

I know that he is probably better, but I meant who looks like a brighter prospect. Sorry if I wasn't clear with what I meant.

Who do you think will be better long term? Haji doesn't seem very raw anymore. He looks very polished for such a young player.

Goslin is another one, but I am not even so sure that he is eligible for USYNT's. His USDA profile lists his nationality as Jamaica.

Prolly worries about losing him to Israel. Gotta cap tie that kid soon.

Still very early to tell with the younger one, but I'd have to say Haji right now. That Galaxy U14 team is seriously stacked. I rate Ateno Ajeakwa and Noa Harrison a bit higher than Hanif at the moment. Other players to keep an eye on from that team are Marc Farias and Jacob Muchnick. The rich keep getting richer, as that academy looks very strong at that age.

Hanif is almost 13 months younger than Haji, so the age difference isn't that great between the two.

13 months in terms of overall soccer player development is big for these ages.
