a couple of pretty good articles that outline the situation fairly well. it'd be nice if the next one contained explicit details of the relationship between the youth fields and the stadium as it's centerpiece. i say this because the only time i hear of anyone talking about the stadium, they don't understand the importance of the youth fields, and conversely, the only time i hear anyone talk about needs for youth fields, they don't understand what a feature facility like a new stadium could provide.
Well, I can tell you that everyone I talk to about the SSS, I explain the need for a complex, where the Stadium and the youth fileds have a symbiotic relationship to one another. In most every case, the fact that is a complex, not just a stadium, definitely pique's their interest and shows how it is a much more viable solution to the current situation (both for the Wizards and the youth soccer community).
