Dana Colley and Billy Conway of Morphine fame have teamed up with female vocalist Laurie Sargent to form a new band: Twinemen www.twinemen.com Listening to some of the samples on the website, these guys (and girl) seem like an emerging force. The sax playing is unmistakable and they will probably be tagged as Morphine II, but that doesn't seem fair considering the sound is overall quite different (female vocalist for instance.) For those of you missing the innovative lo-fi, low end sound of Morphine, this just may be your new outlet. They are currently touring, and I will see them in the next few nights.
