haha I heard that!! Brad said something about Haight Street...lol I'm a tad anebriated and it's 4am here so I'm glad someone else caught that and it's not from hallucinations or something.
Perhaps TT should have said something... His tweet about this being a cable prob shows he knew SOMETHING...well he should have said so earlier or at least expressed some emotion at the game not being on. If he cared he certainly didn't show it: watching the baseball game and ignoring the tv prob.
seems like someone touched a nerve with Twellman telling him to shut up about the Cards game and maybe give a crap about HIS TEAM. I guess I'm pretty naive to think that pros actually watch the games when they are out of action... can't wait to spoil the score of every Cards game that coincides with a revs home game from now on.
happend in the Prem last season (or championship?) it's illegal, goal wouldn't count. as for TT -- I understand the Comcast issues - so sure, keep the ball game on if you CANT watch the REvs... but isn't Direct Kick carrying the game too? am I wong about that. MLS players should probably have Direct Kick.
Hey Taylor, instead of tweeting about the ********ing cardinals, how about you watch YOUR team here: http://www.atdhe.net/17534/watch-san-jose-earthquakes-vs-new-england-revolution And people wonder why he gets crap from us.
TT was going crazy on twitter about the cards game and was ignoring the revs game, with all the revs fans on the net going nuts over no tv for most of the 1st half. the surprising part is that TT was actually surprised that we would call him out for completely ignoring his team...not even a word about him not being able to see it either.
So apparently because he wasn't tweeting about it, he wasn't thinking about it. It's not like some average baseball game either, it went into the 20th inning.
You're not going to win this argument. 20th inning or not, there aren't a whole lot of baseball sympathizers on this board.
yes, it did appear that he wasn't interested in the Revs at all... one tweet of -- "I don't know what to do, my Revs are starting, but this Cards game is amazing!" and this is a non-issue.
All those who want to bash TT for watching the Cards game, he, like me and many others, did not not get the channel with the live feed until well into the first half. Take your misguided anger elsewhere.
"CSN is now aware that Comcast scubscribers aren't seeing the game and working on it. This is a cable system issue, not CSN issue." This was retweeted by Twellman just as the game was starting. He clearly wasn't ignoring his team, and it's probably best that you check your facts next time you make accusations like this. It's not like he's the best player in our club's history or anything...
The stream was up the whole game so really, that's not an excuse. If he wanted to watch the game he could've found the stream (he was online tweeting so obviously he's somewhere in front of a computer). CSN vs TV 38 ..a station that doesn't show the Revs (due to the cable system) vs a station that virtually ignores the Revs (gulp) They really should've figured this out ahead of time, it just seems unprofessional.
Well, "the best player in our club's history" is gettting flak for not being anywhere near as passionate as most of the fans. What's not to understand?
actually, twellman re-tweeted that from the Revs stream -- more than 39 minutes after the game started, as a way of defending him self for the crap he was getting for not watching. (the revs didn't even have that up till 10:39, the lack of communication from them about the situation is another subject for frustration and disgust.) to say "he didn't get the game" again... Direct Kick, Internet, hell, even Radio. from 10pm on, he put up 9 tweets about the Cards... 3 about the revs -- 1 was the pissy one defending him for not watching, one the Revs Re-tweet, and one that he finally started watching, AFTER the cards game ended. finally, once he stated getting crap for it, the tweets dried up quickly. you can bank on that being someone from the Revs, or an agent or PR person telling him to get off twitter ASAP to avoid any further issues
