I checked out after Sport clinched. Pretty quiet ending like you said. Title race was over early too.

The guy who used to put money into Sao Caetano is now going to sponsor Ferroviaria. One of the heirs of Casas Bahia was one the people responsible for Sao Caetano's incredible run in the beginning of the 2000s. He was apparently injecting R$2m a month into the team. He has now left Sao Caetano unhappy with its management and is moving his investments to Ferroviaria who had a good campaign in the Paulista of 2019 and are financially stable. They are currently in Serie D.

Red Bull will be injecting R$200m into Bragantino over the next few years. That however includes investment into the clubs structure including their stadium. In 3 years they expect to be fighting for a Libertadores spot.

The joke came true: "Red Bull" Bragantino is the new Sao Caetano. Will it have the same fate as the Azulão?

Don’t think so . Red Bull is a huge company and seemingly had long term interest in sports .

That's true. And it has been paying off where they invest.
