Whoever is doing MLSsoccer.com's "Takeaways" articles is either clueless or just lazy. Half of them are stupidly obvious and the rest seem completely off.
If anyone is curious, here is the link to the brokers listing of the building. They then have a link to a PDF showing an aerial view of the building, and it's location relative to the Stadium & practice facility. https://sansonegroup.com/properties/union-square-plaza

Second episode of the Save the Crew series just dropped. Based on this, I'm not a fan of Austin fans ... they come across as almost as big a jackass as Precourt
Some are worse than others, but this is definitely true. I've met plenty of fans of my favorite teams I'd gladly launch into space.
There are some great people and events in Austin, but each time I've gone all I could think is that mostly it's a melting pot of the worst parts of Portland, California, and Texas.
In the Athletic article, it shows how Colorado is essentially flipping the allocation money they’re getting for Vines here. So in the future, in assessing the Rapids’ academy, I think it’s fair to evaluate Kaye’s impact on the club.
I'm not sure I agree, given than the article also says they made an offer for him in the offseason and have been tracking him for a while. It tells me they would have likely made this deal with or without the Vines sale.
I should've been more specific. My wife has a lot of family in Texas and my grown niece is VERY Austin. I like the city but it is definitely like a Portlandia sketch at moments. For this episode, the guys they interview from MLS2ATX come across as total tools. Obviously this series is told and edit to present Columbus' perspective but Austin comes across poorly ... not as bad as Precourt but pretty damned bad.
That little "Crew Bee" girl featured midway in video is adorable as hell, and ALL HEART (see 25:00-26:00)
