I noticed I had an old notification in my inbox. I checked it out, it's from 2008. It's a warning for Big Soccer for 'Trolling'. My quote was an opinion about firing Tom Soehn (which was basically agreeing with a different poster who said the same thing) and I was sharing opinions about my attitude about what will make Major League Soccer successful. It was coherent, well-thought-out, and I am literally outraged that I received a warning for expressing my opinions. My first club in MLS was DC United as that was the club I was located near when the league started. I have every right to express my opinion, negative or positive, as often as I want in ANY forum I want. It is an expression of my right to free speech. If I get another warning again, I will make it a legal battle. I am just outraged at someone trying to shut me up, especially when what I was saying was for the good of the club in question and the good of the league in general. It was not violent or racist or stereotyping in any way. Ridiculous. I am furious.
Yeah, but you did say he should be shot along with his wife, and any fans who disagree should have their buttocks pulled apart until they can be used as ear-muffs. Sure is.
The area in bold was your first mistake which in of itself was worthy of a ban let alone a warning but the rest of your post wreaks of bad things. You are lucky the admin team doesn't seek legal action against you.
I just wanted to troll the Trolling thread too. I realize its very 1995/postmodern to express a cynical, recursory- and frankly trite- thought such as this, in this particular context especially, but hey.
I think I should be allowed to post off color racial jokes. The fact that I can't proves that Huss hates my freedom. In fact I think I will be suing bigsoccer and the OP of this thread.
Yeah, it was a long time 'til I realized those Rescue 9-1-1 segments were reenactments. He better have people, because my people need to contact them. Wait, OK, so trolling...well...sounds kind of like that city where Volvos are made. Trollhattan? I like those old Volvo 240s. An old quasimontessori teacher of mine had one.
Trollhättan *nods*. It's actually the "film capital" of Sweden, jocularly known as Trollywood. I kid you not.
You mean Captain Kirk? No you may not. Now Sarah Palin, go right ahead. Just make sure she can't see your house from where she lives.
Your retrograde understanding of self-reflexive "trolling" undermines any claims you might make to postmodernity. Indeed, the paradigmatic trolling narrative you seek to undermine is in fact reinforced by the conventional format you invoke in order to provide a context for your post. Therefore, your attempt at trolling is in fact nothing but a significant, dare I say meaningful, contribution to the thread, and thus, in the parlance of internet trolling, "an epic fail."
Your post is the exact sort of trolling that got Hans Georg Gadamer repeatedly banned from bigtheory.com. Besides, I didn't want to sound pompous.
