Hey... What happened to "Trio de Ataque" that used to give on RTPI on Tuesdays? Checked the guide and it is not there this week and hasn't been shown at all. Checked the programs available on RTP and it is not even listed. Sure will miss the program if it is gone because it truly gave some good insights into the games - better than the guys on Bancada Central or the other program on SIC. So anyone have any news on this program? Thanks.

I wrote RTP and posed the same question - they have written back with the following: O Trio de Ataque deixou de ser transmitido porque durante o programa existem vários momentos com resumos dos jogos da Liga Sagres e, infelizmente, os direitos de transmissão internacional desses resumos pertencem à Sport TV. Como a Sport TV também possui uma emissão internacional, os direitos são exclusivos. Lamentamos não satisfaze-lo com a inclusão do Trio de Ataque em nossa grelha, mas esperamos que continue a acompanhar os jogos em directo da Liga Sagres e da Selecção Nacional, assim como toda a programação da RTP Internacional. They basically said that they sometimes use video clips of games, and that the rights of the video clips pertain to SportTV, and because SportTV also include the international rights - the rights are theirs. Sad that once again this SuperLiga transmission rights is rearing its ugly head. :-O
