Problem is there's a major Mexican population in the Northwest. They bring tons when Friendlies are played in Seattle.

A Mexico game in Seattle would be a terrible idea.

I would like to see a USA-Mexico friendly match though.
Would be hell of a World Cup type of atmosphere.

That'd be great, charge $200 a ticket, let 60,000 Mexican fans packed the place and we'll make $4million or whatever (honestly I didn't do the math).

To tell you the truth a Mexico friendly is not all that attractive to me, the last time the US played them on home soil two years ago, the crowd was not all that great. They got around 30K in Philly, a game I attended. Now I know there were some circumstances that played into the smallish crowd. Midweek, late kickoff 9 pm and that is was just a month after the GC Final, but still.

A match in Seattle would be more intriguing.

    Great video from the match!
I love Twellman's quote @ 1:44 "You could play in a sandpit for all I care if you're in front of this crowd"
Darke: "It makes a difference doesn't it"
    Twellman: "It's unbelievable"

Thank you Seattle for providing tremendous support!

We were at the game on the opposite side from the Outlaws and, to be honest with you, the crowd was so loud, I could not even hear the "We're going to Brasil" chant. I didn't hear about it till we got back to the hotel and saw it on ESPN.

I loved Seattle and can't wait to go back. Already suffering back in Dallas in the 100 degree heat.

You got to experience the notoriously shifty Seattle weather. Torrential downpour one minute, sunny and beautiful the next!

I didn't hear the "we're going to brazil" chant, either....

I travel a lot for work, been to pretty much every major US city and Seattle ranks up there with the best. Just a wonderful place to visit, the weather surely helped. We did Pikes Market, Niketown and seafood dinner when we got in Sunday, Monday day trip to Bainbridge, ate at the Harbour Public House, then Astros Mariners that night. Then the EMP on Tuesday followed by the USMNT match. Fantastic all around trip capped off by a great experience at CenturyLink.
