So he's a legbreaker, huh? Terrific. Who's our enforcer when we get into trouble, Thompson? :ROFLMAO:

Just read that Tottenham Hotspurs will not be re-signing Cameron Carter-Vickers when his contract expires at the end of the season. Young American International that would be great at right center back.

He is not on the allocation list, so we would not have to compete from the 12th spot.

I wonder if he would meet the criteria of the new "young DP" rule?

Never been that impressed with him (positioning, leading the defense). Still, he is young and worth a look.

consult the centerbacks of Banfield, River Plate, and Chivas during the Almeyda era, preferably a name that is cheap and not flashy because that will add increasing likelihood to a signature

Shut it all down. Go home. Move along. Nothing to see here. Eric Remedi will wear #5 for #Quakes74. Confirmed by a Quakes spokesperson.

After Muma, #5 should be reserved for CB's only. Better yet, it should be retired.

Not a fan of retiring numbers. Especially 1-11.

I was not entirely serious about the retiring but at the same time we are a little desperate for heroes. Wanted to pay respects to Muma, a solid player for the Quakes for several years who bled blue and had a hall of fame scowl.

It would be great if the Quakes could take advantage and bring in some players for pennies on the dollar... unfortunately we’re loaded up with Almeyda rejects.

I think Tariq Panja is referring to those $NN million guys who no one else will buy at that price, such as Pulisic. Dele Alli is another example of a high-priced player that is too pricey for the transfer market. Maybe Sergio Aguero? But no one is MLS is going to pay that much money for a player when they’ve just bragged/lied to the MLSPA how many $ billions they are losing.

Dejan Jakovic and Mohamed El-Munir would be two players worth kicking the tires on as I would argue both are better than Kashia (whom we haven't replaced yet) and Beason.

Dejan Jakovic would be an upgrade over Kashia and Jungwirth. Garza if he could stay healthy would be a solid pick-up.

I don’t know if it’s even worth talking about these guys until Jesse shows any desire at all to sign an MLS veteran (other than one that has played for Almeyda).
