OK, so Montreal drafted Brian Ching and he doesn't want to play there. We need a target forward. Why not work a trade with old Jesse Marsch?
Let's trade for Justin Mapp, if for no other reason, to make Khan's head explode. Afterall, it was Frank Klopas (now our permanent coach) who signed him to the contract.
Not for a player who's only going to be around 1 more year. The Fire aren't even close to being on the cusp of a championship.
Surprised this thread got this far without pointing out, you know, that Ching doesn't want to play his last season anywhere but Houston. Said this before he was even selected by Montreal: http://www.chron.com/sports/dynamo/article/Dynamo-s-Ching-says-he-ll-retire-if-taken-in-2283467.php
If you think spending 400k on salary cap, plus giving up something for a trade, for 1 year of Brian Ching, you are absolutely nuts.
