    Not much excitement?

It is the Christmas campaign. Wouldn't mind a few gifts of joy.

Walker lucky not to give Stoke a goal straight away.

That yellow card needs to come out more...but not too often. Should be two yellow for Stoke and a second on Sandro.

    This could get ugly.

Yet another slow tempo first half.

I hate playing Stoke. I always feel like if all of our players emerge without career-ending injuries it's a win. Yet somehow we're the ones with 2 players on yellow at the half.

At least Adam isn't there to take a whack at Bale.

Like the confidence in Defoe, today. Not afraid to shoot. Now he needs to get them on target.

If Spurs get that one slip up from Stoke, it is a goal.

    Don't dismiss my optimism.

Should have been Nzonzi's second yellow.

Big moment was Sigurdsson being saved by Begovic. Game has really highlighted again our need not only for more creativity, but frankly a real top striker.

At the final whistle....Dembele had a poor match. So the ref.

Stoke play such a despicable brand of football. I wish they'd get relegated. They now have 9 clean sheets, 1 away win, and 5 0-0 draws. That last stat is the highest of any side in the top 5 european leagues, according to the gits doing the announcing. Actually, it was highest when it was just 4 0-0 draws. Now they have a cushion.

I hate Asmir Begovic with a passion but that was a fine save at the end.

All this game did was further provide further proof that we REALLY need a creative midfielder. Dembele is great but he is not that kind of creative mid like Modric was that can break down a hard defense, like Stokes, with that inventive/critical pass.

Defoe can't score if Ade is with him

Agreed. Since Ade's come back from suspension Defoe hasn't scored. Maybe start the Iceman behind Defoe if Dempsey's hurt.

Modric had plenty of problems in these types of games too.
