Smart save from mendy there after a long period with nothing to do.

Bit worried we are inviting them to take shots all of a sudden.

Why the f**k do we play it out of the back (starting in the goalkeepers hands) against a pressing team pushing for an equaliser?

Kick it up the pitch ffs. Why create unnecessary pressure?

They should never have let that ball come in, defender just stood off the cross

We’ve dominated this match, and yet, we’re holding on by a thread. So many chances not taken.

Gareth Bale. I always forget he plays for them. Not sure why they don't use him. For 10 mins.

Our control of the game in the second half has been poor. Thiago was missed.

Massive win. League table looks much better after the last 3 matches and confident the team will continue to improve.

3 points and a clean sheet. Mason Mount deservedly MOTM. We were better in the first half. We had 18 shots on goal and yet only two on target. We had a very good first half. Second half not so much. Werner still has to show us more. He is starting to look much better and more confident which is a good thing. Striker needs to score goals.

We only had 2 shots on target, 1 from open play. Still need to do more to convert possession into chances

Broke - Correcting people's grammar/typo errors on a message board
Woke - Doing that, but except you're the one who's wrong
Bespoke - Doubling down by using the same word incorrectly again :ROFLMAO:

    Anyway, tense game, but:

If we can improve the decision making in crucial moments (the kova shot, cho/mount/timo in the box, etc), the goals are there.

Tuchel not at all sure what to do at the striker position though.

Kovacic would be a great midfield player IF he could only score a few goals a season. As it is he has only ever score one goal for us. Especially with this formation you need goals from the midfield

Don't forget Werner's 1st touch. But agree, decision making in the final 3rd needs to improve a lot.

Timo Werner won a third Premier League penalty of the season – more than any other player.

We deserved to win today. But it was only 1-0 and that was a penalty. That said we looked in control especially at the back. Not sure how well Alonso is going to do when we play against faster opposition and he will have to defend. We shall see.
