Im telling you, this guy is very good. He is a tough, tough deffender with lots of cohones. He is willing to take on the whole world team by himself. With him defending back there the Pauleta nd company would be terrified to score.

Serie A: Team of the Week Round 22

Bruno Cardile offers up his team of the week in Serie A. This week his trident consists of Trezeguet, Bogdani and Totti.

Antonioli: Splendid saves helped earn his team a point.

Mexes: Defended well to help Roma’s push for a Champions League spot.

Bertotto: Good game and display that allowed Udinese to salvage a point.

Rezaei: Played a fine game to aid Messina’s fight against relegation.

Figo: Fine game. Scored a nice goal. Great ball control and passes.

Taddei: Is showing his worth and is in tune with the Roma squad. Fine goal.

Vieira: Another good game from the former Arsenal player. Fine at exposing defenses.

Stankovic: Played today and rewarded himself and Inter with points. Inter will fight Juve until the end. They are maturing and for this, Moratti must be happy.

Bogdani: The Del Neri killer. Need I say more? Three strikes and you are out.

Trezeguet: Scored thrice. Superb player. Great instincts that allow him to score. Will be France’s main man in Germany.

Totti: Another fine game from the Roma captain. His goals are helping Roma get steadily closer to that 4th place.

Rezai is the best defender. He marks Chevchenko, Adriano, etc in the Serie A.

The fact that two certain names are even in the running shows you who is voting on this poll...

I would have to agree with you. Not by much though

Ferreira was getting eaten alive by Dinho...

Out of Mexico's defenders, Marquez has the better all around game and vision.

When it just comes down to straight up defending...Salcido is the muthafucking man!!! His all around game isn't bad either.

You guys will know who Salcido is come WC06!

Usually for big games he plays CB, but its up to the coach if he finds someone he is comfertable with staying in the back and letting Marquez move up. Salcido or Osorio could do the job. He has played as defensive mid with Mexico, but I don't like the way it worked. With LaVolpe you never know though...
