Let me know if I missed anybody, or if anyone disagrees with my selections. http://www.examiner.com/x-7377-Phil...09m4d8-Top-10-Philadelphiaborn-soccer-players edit: i know Jeff Larentowicz was born in California, but he did grow up in the philly area so i decided to keep him in.
That looks like a pretty comprehensive list of contemporary players to me. I'm not sure about this, but I think a bunch of players from that USMNT from ancient times that made the semifinals of the WC or something like that had a handful of players from Philadelphia.
Does Seattle hold the MLS rights to Jeff Parke? I don't think Donatelli is good enough, or at least percieved to be god enough to start in the MLS, and being a bench player would probably mean a pay cut from his starter role in Montreal so I don't see him leaving the Impact.
I'm not sure how I failed to make this list. I still play every Wednesday and Saturday. I may have been born in California (like Jeff) but I was raised in Philly. Geesh...What's a guy gotta do?
Jeremiah White was born in D.C, but i should of put him on there since i had Larentowicz. Thanks for bringing White up.
