IIRC, it also coincides with Fatass McQuesohead’s first visit to Columbus. Maybe the scoreboard was trying to tell us something.
Fact = @TKyle is a mod. Fact = All mods are a stupidface. Fact = I was really hoping someone wouldn't remind us of what I'm quoting. ...does this make @TKyle a SuperStupidFace?
That post is from 2017. Josh Williams played on the same team as Massive Champions from 2008. To Josh Williams!
I can't think of anyone from 2008 aside from Danny ORourke (IIRC) who was still with the team in 2013.
Well yes, I obviously meant aside from him. The question was not whether Josh Williams played on the same team as Josh Williams. And I specifically said "2013". You can't then change the date in question to "2010" and then do a victory lap. Put down the bong.
https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-9.67 Happy June 20th, everyone! It was today in 1996 that a certain bill was made into law. Hey Oakland -- I hear your baseball team is probably gonna move. Is it too late for you to pass a similar law?
The first game in Lower.com Field was on July 3, 2021, and resulted in a 2–2 draw between the Crew and the New England Revolution. Happy Anniversary! I was there it was a beautiful sight despite the final result being a draw.

Hard Hat tells us this is the 10th anniversary of AO Seattle coming in to try to teach us how to cheer.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/NordeckeColumbus/permalink/6599473786812277/?mibextid=Nif5oz He says: "Happy 10th Anniversary for those who were around for the Great AO Debacle of 2013!" Could today have been the beginning of the mess?
Maybe HHM is referring to the infamous conference call leading up to the match where Seattle reminded us that they invented soccer.
Another fan posted something about that call. I do think it was the call that happened that day. Apparently someone on that call later tried to convince everyone the call never happened.
That must have been right after all the leadership of AO Columbus resigned. Walked out. They were all Nordecke guys and they weren't about to go along with that shit. The dirty secret was that USSF was behind the whole thing. Some halfwit intern had been to the previous game in Salt Lake City and the fans didn't make much noise. So this kid, a few months out of college, worked this whole thing out with AO, and then got his bosses to go along with it. For Mexico game. In Columbus. AO sent out a request to all the chapters for volunteer capos to come to CBus and show us how to support the team. It was about as insulting as anything they could possibly have done. The AO guys from Seattle said they'd be happy to run it all, and they sihned up a bunch of complete assholes like that stupid woman in Iowa who later sued both USSF and AO because some drunk kid at a 3am street party touched her tit. There are a lot of great stories from that incident but my favorite was their PA system mysteriously going down. We don't know anything about that though.
The next day after the call that didn't happen I had a call with the USSF Communications director and said intern. They both specifically referenced what had gone on. The USSF guy was clearly nervous about what had been said and asked me what I thought might happen if they set up their capo stands and all that crap. I told him that Columbus had never had a capo stand in the stadium and it wouldnot shock me to see someone get their ass kicked if they tried it.
