*Okay, so I lied. I bought the ticket off of Goodwill. I wasn't at the game, but did make every dos o cero (and the uno a dos) and was at the US Open Cup match. I don't have any of those stubs, so I don't feel guilty showing "my" 5/15 ticket when people don't believe I made it to the others.

 

This is one reason I prefer paper to digital. There's just something better about seeing a stub after so many years.

 

I saved mine for years but when I sold my house in 2020, I left behind a lot of stuff, including my ticket stubs. Nowdays they don't give stubs anyway so youngsters will probably think it's like collecting matchboxes or something.

 

Today is the 15th anniversary of the debut of Rock on the Range. There was one side stage where the OHP Center currently sits. ZZ Top headlined the main stage at the south end of the field.

As field passes were given out to the first people in line, there was a huge line of drunks waiting in line well before the gates opened.

I am truly relieved my youth was prior to modern-day social media.

 

As am I, but you don’t have any reason to want to bury anything about the pink slip incident.

I remember watching it unfold and wished I would have been involved in some way.

 

I woke up in the middle of the night, and remembered this was on--turned on the TV just in time to see McBride score....

 

I was there too. Crazy times.

 

Likewise. HCS was called the center of soccer in the US during the watch parties.

 

Today is the anniversary of the day the "Modell Law" was passed.

 

And today is the ninth anniversary of Hunt Sports Group cashing out.

The Capybaras are in the inaugural MLS Next Pro Cup and Tim Bezbatchenko celebrated a winning side.

 

It was actually 10/4, but HHM just posted the photo of the "Frankie Hejduk Beer Chug" from the game when Frankie was suspended.
