Hopefully that's the case. I would hate for this to turn into Fabregas 2.0.

No big surprise here. But the rumors were a tad unsettling, no?

Maybe not this summer but I would bet that the call to return to Barca becomes too great within the next 5 yrs.

Cesc had no reason to leave. He was a starter for us and went to Barca to sit on the bench.

Hmmm... perhaps... but the lad is way too young and his instagram is tops... hard to leave London at that age

Yes, but then again should we be used to how this is used/played out in this industry.

My big thought was this: Why would Barca come after him now and pay over the top after he had arguably a worse season than the past two?

Statsbomb has introduced this metric called "passing ability," which Knutson describes as thus:

873226077455482880 is not a valid tweet id

873226442678689792 is not a valid tweet id

873227257141133313 is not a valid tweet id

But there's also this little nugget, which is fascinating:

873226701391761409 is not a valid tweet id

I wonder if StatDNA's passing metrics are why the club bought Xhaka.

seeing rumors yesterday that Alexis has left for the Confed Cup and left his agent to sort out his contract situation. If true, that tells me 1 of 2 things...

    A) He wants to stay and is looking for the best deal he can get
    B) He doesn't care where he plays as long as it is max $$$

Does that count as being registered to 3 teams?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't; If it did, clubs in England would not be able to buy players who don't qualify for work permits, as those players have to get loan moves before they can play in England.

Not sure. Wenger isn't Conte who made Victor Moses an EPL winning (albeit FA Cup costing:D) RWB.

Gnabry signs with Bayern. Bright side is least we wont have to watch him score against us in the annual Bayern massacre. Probably best young talent we had and here we are but hey by all means convince yourselves this man is competent for an allegedly top club. Joke ting

What would you have done differently? He was getting significant playing time here until he tore his ACL.

Wenger isn't very good at identifying talent anymore

Even when they are in his own team
