Since you guys are open minded about starting new songs, you should try Pippi Longstocking done by Eintracht Frankfurt fans. It's a simple song. They're just singing "Hey Entract Frankfurt, LO LO LO LO....." over and over again: Same song, different version:
Hey guys. Had a question for you. Are there any of your members that carpool up from Eugene for matches? My wife is interviewing for a job that would move us from Columbus to Eugene (Professorship at UO) so I'm trying to find out a little bit about what it's would take to make it up for games. Thanks in advance.
Im sure there are a couple of members of the TA who reside in Eugene. However i doubt they made it up to a majority of the games this year with most of them being on Thursday. I mean, if you work a Mon-Fri job your gonna be in a rough way on Friday. Google maps quotes it as two hours from Eugene to PGE Park. So if the game starts at 7, gets done at 9. By the time you get to your car and get out of town and to your front door your probably looking more at 2 1/2 to 3 hours so that puts you home at 12. I guess if you are a soldier you can get it done all season long. I would be impressed.
This is Alejo Loco of Chanticos Army in Austin TX, big fan of the TAs work and was wondering what is the realistic probability that u guys will "go up" to MLS by 2011. I personally say F MLS Major Lugey Spitune but hey
Just moved to your town, beatches, looking forward to getting out and meeting some of you, hopefully this sat vs Vancouver. I have already visited Seattle and found it to be a lifeless corporate shithole, I think ill fit right in here...
Did you make it to the match? Tonight is Thirsty Thursday! It'll be a good one. Check www.TalkTimbers.com for more info
Sadly no I'm still doing the catch-up-with-old-friends thing and had to suffer letting a cute chick cook me dinner that night. Woe is me. I treid to get her out to PGE for the Timbers game but she looked at me like I had tits on my forehead and said "is that the lacrosse thing?". I'm good to go for the 19th though, psyched to make it out, it'll be nice to not have to drive 3 hours to see a decent match like I used to have to do.
Timbers fans can buy tickets to the 2nd Round of Open Cup July 16th, Tuesday night at Santa Rosa HS, Santa Rosa, Calif... visit www.SonomaCountySol.com for more details and to buy tickets
You guys had better win this one. If you do, you face Seattle in round 3. That could be one for the TV.
At the very least it'll likely be on USLlive.com. They just moved the match (supposedly) to the 1st of July... which means I can't make it. Which BLOWS.
