There was no mention of it being streamed online in the press release last week, but I would check back later today. If there will be a stream, I'd expect them to have a link to it by mid-afternoon. I hope you get the chance to watch it, and that Lucas gets to play!

Well there was no stream but Lucas was able to play 45 solid minutes in the second half. Great experience for him!

Is anyone here hearing any rumors of an affiliation between the Timbers and USL's Sacramento Republic FC beginning next season?

    Thanks.

My two cents. All I've seen is Merritt bought the Beavers (Triple A baseball) and Timbers from Warren. The relationship ends there it appears. That was in 2007... A lot has changed for the Timbers and Merritt since then. The Timbers umbrella has the Timbers U-23 team as a PDL team to scout prospects, and a new PDL team is springing up in Eugene as well. The LA Blues have been a destination before for loans.

This article lacks any meaningful quotes, but for what it's worth...

    http://www.prostamerika.com/2013/11/13/timbers-sacramento/92818

By the way, the article did correctly mention a stadium announcement, as an 8,000 seat stadium may be slapped together at the state fairgrounds in time for 2014 first kick. So, there does seem to be some credibility here.

Timbers Reserves were fairly well supported, hope Sacramento get a good support.

Have PTFC decided what they are going to do next year?
I have heard rumors of a PTFC II in 2015, like what Seattle and Van City are doing

I heard a rumour of a USL PRO team in Salem. Another option would be help get Lane united into the USL PRO and have them. But currently their relationship with Sacramento Republic does fine.

Portland Timbers 2 now have six players on their roster, according to head coach Jay Vidovich after today's training session. The fledgling USL side have added former Portland Timbers homegrown signings Steven Evans and Brent Richards, 2015 superdraft pick Kharlton Belmar, former Sacramento Republic FC player Harrison Delbridge, Jamaican international Rennico Clarke, and veteran argentine striker Santiago Biglieri.

Great player at USL level. I would say something about a step up in quality but to be honest after the NASL club's performance in the USOC I don't think there will be any problem.
