Don't forget the R if you are going to mention results of other games and the thread title doesn't otherwise let people know.

There is no official expiration date and Arsenal result is from today.

I'm sorry but that is absurd. I understand within 24 perhaps even 48 hours, but to state that there is no official expiration date on results makes no sense. So we should not talk about results of matches that took place a week or more ago? Please elaborate and rethink your position. Thanks DK.

Alberto - gee thanks for reviving this. I'm not saying throw out common sense, but FSW replays games all week so if you start a thread and want to discuss results, just use some courtesy and put a warning in the title -- it's not a big deal.

If it bothers you, think of it in terms of reserve matches. People still use the R's, but is anyone going to get truly upset if someone doesn't? I'm not going to officially change the rule to say no R's needed for reserve matches, but common sense prevails.

We could debate this further, but the fact is, in my x number of years as a YA mod, it has never come up that someone has started discussing a result from a week or more older and it has become an issue. I said something in this case, because it was my opinion that soccerfan, contrary to what he says, implied a result from a game that day.

Agreed. Particularly when it comes to the coy reply by many posters, but I didn't state who won? No, but you implied as much in the title of your thread.
