They showed it last night before the Metro DC game.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Rio Ferdinand kicking a soccer ball at each other across a hotel hall way from elevator to elevator.

At the end of the commercial Ruud Kicks the ball one last time at Rio and tim howard, in his pajamas dives across the scene and grabs it.

Then he stands up, smiles at the camera.

    NIKE SOCCER

    the end.

    Great stuff.

It made my night to see Timmy on a soccer ad with RVN and Rio.

I can't find any links to it on the internet.

    Anybody got it?

Agreed. Great commercial. Was slightly stunned to see TimMay do his acrobatic stuff at the end, but it brought a big grin to my face.

    Great stuff.

I saw it last night too. I was watching the game with a friend of mine and when Howard appeared in that commercial we both looked at each other dumbfounded. I actually had to ask "that was Tim Howard, right?" because I just couldn't believe my eyes. How weird ...

Damn! How'd I miss that? Surely, it'll be popping up on FSW and during the WWC, though.

I was just about to heed nature's call when the commercial came on. "Cool, a new Nike commerial with RVN." Seeing Timmy at the end of the spot was a pleasant surprise.

I guess he really has hit it big time ;-) Good for him.

I wonder if they edited a version for French audiences with Barthez at the end? :)

In that version, does RVN score because Barthez left the near post of the elevator open?

Freddy's funny - he seems to have such a good sense of humor about his juggling mistakes - and his triumphs, for that matter.

No. RVN scores because Barthez is wandering down the hall by the ice machine.

Or he's standing next to the elevator futilely signalling for offside.
